probably that of the ongoings in MY first three months? :D
Admist the home-bound trips with Serene whilst in the midst of preparing Orientation One, I've told myself & told her about my plans for joining BYG. Both of us had our past with BYG...2004's, that was, when we were both First Three Month-ers in CCS.
She was my dearest make-up artist :) , along with SiuWen (whose now the MOST professional make-up artist & make-up/costume leader!!!) & I was just some silly EmCee who wanted quite a couple of revolutionary stuffs to be ongoing in the BYG then, & of course, nevertheless, got tonnes of lectures by the teachers lahhh.
And yahh... BYG 2004, till now, I unregrettingably would put it, was thoroughly disgusting!!!! I was quite disgusted by the fact that I was the EmCee of then lahhs, & disgusted by whatever had happened, then. YUCKS!
But was really glad for the friendship made between me & Chen Chun Yan Lao Shi :D Kenneth Singh, Wei Liang, Siu Wen, Serene? & also, probably establishing a really notorious profile amongst the Chinese teachers of NYJC who were probably was ( & maybe still, ) very skeptical about me :/ Oohh, there were quite a couple of comments from friends & friends of friends who said I was very pretty!!! Hahas. Self-deillusioned. Blahh.
Anyhows, BYG 2004. Disgusting.
BYG 2005. Simply, simply wonderful!!! :)
After BYG 2004, by a struck of fate & destiny & whatsoever, I actually ended up getting 12 points ( -_-"') & a FREAKING C6 for English ( !!! ) Yah, so no Hwa Chong, no Mass Comm. Rhymes huh? but, sucks lahh. Ended up in Nanyang ... was persuaded to stay in CCS but ... ran for Council ... got into Council ... out of consideration for CCS's top-notch EX-CO positions, CCS minor, but Council's hectic & stuffs. By right, it was almost impossible to handle both CCAs, & no one believed that it was possible ... yeahhh. All thought I was crazy. :/ Skeptics.
And it was really really thankfully due thanks to Kenneth, XueShen & Jiam that I could actually have a go at drama again! :) Even though it was admist unconfirmed schedules & fringy matters, I was given the very sacred opportunity to act in there. And silly Kenneth was feeling pretty bad about giving me such a "small role" in BYG ... but know what? Being able to act again in a drama production in 2005, again, is really, just good enough for me :D I am really, really, thankful for the chance! :) :) :)
Chinese Stage Drama.
Something I've been in touch with ever since eons. Since secondary school, to be exact. 4 years of chinese drama in St Nicks. Attending to all Huang Cheng Ye Yun's. :) :) :) Glamorous MediaCorp Talent Training Classes, along with BYG 2004's horrendous experiences, helping Melody with their MCM's film project & wondrous others ... all these brings in heart-wrenching nostalgia of Drama. Staging drama. Council projects certainly covers tonnes of prospects, but Staging Drama matters ---- totally a different experience.
Anyhows, got into a ju with much familiars! :) Jiam & XueShen as daoyans, stage managers YongZi & TianTian, fellow actors ZhenYou, MinZhi & MingXiao. People whom I've been closely associated with, in one way or another, except for my Stage Managers & MingXiao, that is, but then again, MingXiao's from NAZGUL! Hahas. Jiam & Zhenyou --- ex-Councillors?! Really great to be able to work closely with them again!
Needless to say, through all these, we really got close ... had gossip sessions every now & then, as & when we could, Saturday lunches sitting at AMK's S11 having our favourite Qiu Lian Ban Mian! :D We are all so lame, & all, if not most, could click, right away! :D
:: 15th January :: The very first time we had rehearsals. Still can remember dragging Zhen You & JunJie down for jog! How my digestive system wasn't working at all ... since the year before ... and that day I actually managed 10 rounds! Had the Hannis thing so Jiam couldn't make it for rehearsals, both of us being skeptical about the very initial script the night before ...
you know all these just seems so ... yesterday?
That very day we sat down & talked, talked through the whole script, at MacDonalds, made tonnes of editions, & had our dearest Lao Da (aka XueShen) really stressed. The ice between the whole group wasn't really melted yet, but guess Zhen You & I tried to keep the ball rolling, then. But since then, I felt that somehow the ju will turn out to be one of comedy ... when the original piece of scriptwork was a serious-poke-prob-at-society-piece-of-script. And eventually, it did turn out to be! :D
We've really come a loooong way. We certainly did. As the whole cast, <<厕隐>>, and of course ... my very own experience. <<厕隐>> was badly thought of at first. People were really, really skeptical about us.
We went through tonnes & tonnes of major changes & it wasn't till like two weeks (or maybe less) that before the actual performance that the script, was FINALLY FINALIZED! And of course, we owe the huge success to tonnes of people ... especially Mr. Kuo Hen Leung, our Drama Instructor! He's one great guy that we've all learnt so much from him! :) I would really love to work more with him in future! :D
Oooh... can still remember how bored I'll get & how restless at rehearsals, when everything was either at a loss ... or at stake. And when Council stuffs was ongoing & I couldn't join them, cause it was nearing performance, & I had to stay with the cast. Alas .... all the efforts didn't go to waste? :)
The 2 days of performance has been really, really wonderful. The Bai Yun Gang 05 experience. We (CCS), was definitely more united :) :) :) Led by our dearest Mr Kenneth & Ms Kimberly, all the crazy closely-knitted cast groups, the sweeeeet make-up/costumes, strrooong & steady props, sturdy & really firm lights&sounds , dedicated ticketeers who doubled-up as food deliveriers ... & given MUCH more freedom in organizing this event, the bond strength's definitely much, much stronger & people tend to naturally feel more for it?! :D
Just being rhectorical. But reallly, really, felt the unity within.
LT4's going to be so different for me lahhs. My gosh.
The days of rehearsals, technical-runs, dry-runs, sound-cue runs, full-dress, full-runs, performance day 1, performance day 2.
GOSH will miss all these various little details !!! ZhenYou! & his silly lame antics & really sweeeeeet-doings for his certain someone, and of course, the moley-woman's my fellow St Nicks CLDDS counterpart! :) Whee! My great friend since the age of thirteen! :D First time we've worked together in the same skit! Even after so many years of doing drama together! And honourably, being my daoyan! :) Hahas :D MinZhi, previously referred to as Jiam's friend ... now my fellow SE! (self-entertainer!)! One woman I really cannot do without. "Oh Zhi! What would I do without you?!" :D all the silly stuffs we'll do to self-entertain ... all the things we confide in each other with! :) :) :) sweeeet SE! & XueShen, my di & ex-MSN chat partner who'll chat nonstop with last time, this silly daoyan who always try-to-get-angry-and-fierce-but-always-cannot-make-it, but super, super adorable daoyan! he's like the most $-faced daoyan who always finishes up all the snacks that Jiam brought for us lahhs! MingXiao, this silly enthu year one I've noticed since Orientation who will always feed us with gossips of the Year Ones, & his assurance to me that Phoenix Cheerleading will do well (when rehearsals began way before CNY competition day) --- the both of us always apologetically not able to come for full-rehearsals till the 8th of February was over... his weird weird logics & expresionless face. hahahs. Tian Tian ... this silly Stage Manager of mine whose forever always trying to irritate us by telling us her lame matters, like she cut her hair already.... ( for the dont know which time! ) but ALWAYS failing to really irritate us, & her "hard approach" towards "scolding" us morphing into a softer tone ... simply cause we were just so amicable *& loveable? :) and YongZi, for her silly blurneesss ... mispronounciations, her trying really hard for her optimum best & her endless thoughtfulness for the other skits.
The fellow Self-Entertainers lovees entertaining ourselves, going on & on about our crushes ***winKz, all the lovely gossips CE YIN shared ... things we talk about under the Sun, under the Ceiling of the Econs room 5-36, under AMK S11's kopitiam, shopping for Valentine's gifts ... a-wanted-to-be-fierce-SM-turned-unfierce-cause-we-were-just-too-lovely? & .... alot, alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot alot of stuffs! My gosh...
The people in CE YIN are just simply wonderful.
Really beautiful. You guys are one big part of how Bai Yun Gang's going to be one big chapter in my JC life mans. Thanks for so much of it all ! :) :) :)
And yah... somehow, I guess I didn't really live up to my expectations of myself for the 2 nights ... there was still so much room to improve on for the short scenes I had. Did alot worse on the last night ... it really wasn't as good as I wanted it to be ... but ... I guess its all over, all over already? :/
BUT, the very bestest thing was knowing the people better :) my lovely toileteers & seeing CCS grow as a better & closer society!!! & ... basically, there was so sooooooooooo much I wanted to say, but somehow I am very much in thought saturation that I ... dont know what to say . All the little dedications been sent out to them ... just really going to miss each & every single one of them, I guess?
Its such an ironic play.

My goodness ... after umpteen times of Missing-In-Action of Full-Attendanced Gatherings ever since 31st Dec 04 - 1st Jan 04, its been a full time gathering!!! :) My gosh!!! I really, still loveee you guys as much as I always did! Am really really really really really glad for you guys taking off time to come and support, when 5 outta the 9 of us are pretty packed with preparing for NJ's performance, next week? Really really loveeeeeeeeeeeee the sweetnesss! My god. And my dear vice-Presidents of S-cube haven't been in action for long too! ***clears throat!

My lovely currently year One juniors! :) The Suckies --- Steffi, Gua, Birdy Wang Wang. Kangkang, Dor!!! Hahahs. Was really glad to see all of them! Havent seen them in Eons!!!! And all the Grey Batchies... my darling used-to-be-Secondary-Oners.... seeing all of them just reminds me how much we've aged. & how sweet it is to have a clooose CCA that one simply passion just binds all of us together. Still, I have this bit of regret in not being able to spend more time with them & get to really know them ... but still the sweeeetness reeeks deep in there! :D Gosh gosh.

Oh yah... to the Council, the Council teachers & fellow Councillors ... especially O2 Adhoc & CCAco! Thanks for letting me off ... even though it was quite bad of me to do so ... but nevertheless, thanks for the patience & the tolerance for the very unlikeliness & unexpectance of me. Yes .. I know I am rather guai lan. Hahas. But if Alyssa's not guai la*, than ... who is? =P
So PR committee ... & Old Elders + The Oracle Association (OETOA) ... I will be back in action!
And also, to all my teachers. Ms Amy Chiew, Mdm Liu Fang, Mr Tan Kim Soo, Mrs Neo Siew Jin, Mrs Anantha, Mrs Lim Sok Hoon, Ms Yue Yoke Har ... I am sorry for those late assignments & half-conscious states in classes. Yah... the dream land visits & empty answer scripts are not purposely done in rebellion. I'll promise to catch up as soon as I can, alright? Hahahas. God knows how they are going to read this.... which they better not have the means too ... but I hope they'll have the faith in me to. Gees. My Year Two year. Yikes.
And ... one more thing before I end off this entry, which has been edited & edited over & over again... its so because of St Nicks I've realised one thing.
Drama is beautiful. & that life, itself, is beautiful, if we do live it the right way, in the right style, that is.
